By accessing or using SEOScanner.ai (“the Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, you may not use the Service. We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time, and your continued use constitutes acceptance of any changes.

2. Description of Service

SEOScanner.ai provides automated SEO auditing, analysis, and remediation services. Our AI-powered agent scans websites for SEO issues and can automatically apply fixes to improve search engine rankings. The Service is provided on a subscription basis with various plan tiers.

3. Account Registration

• You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account.
• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.
• You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service.
• One person or entity may not maintain more than one free account.
• You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.

4. Subscription & Billing

• Paid plans are billed monthly or annually in advance.
• You may upgrade, downgrade, or cancel your plan at any time through your billing settings.
• Downgrades take effect at the end of the current billing cycle.
• Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis. Contact us within 14 days of purchase for refund requests.
• We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days' notice to existing subscribers.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Scan websites you do not own or have explicit permission to scan.
• Use the Service to engage in any illegal or unauthorized activity.
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble the Service.
• Overload or interfere with the Service's infrastructure.
• Resell or redistribute access to the Service without our written consent.
• Use automated tools to access the Service beyond the provided API.

6. AI Agent & Automated Fixes

• Our AI agent applies SEO fixes based on industry best practices. While we strive for accuracy, we do not guarantee specific ranking improvements.
• You are responsible for reviewing and approving changes before they are deployed to your website.
• Automated fixes are designed to be non-visual (they do not alter the appearance of your website). However, we recommend verifying changes after deployment.
• We are not liable for any negative impact on your website's performance or rankings resulting from applied fixes.

7. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its design, features, and content, is owned by SEOScanner.ai and protected by intellectual property laws. Your scan data and website content remain your property. By using the Service, you grant us a limited license to process your data solely for providing the Service.

8. Data & Privacy

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy. We process data in accordance with GDPR and applicable data protection regulations.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, SEOScanner.ai shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or business opportunities. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by you in the 12 months preceding the claim.

10. Service Availability

We strive for 99.9% uptime but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may temporarily suspend the Service for maintenance, updates, or circumstances beyond our control. We will provide reasonable notice for planned maintenance when possible.

11. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms. You may delete your account at any time through your settings. Upon termination, your data will be deleted in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Netherlands. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Amsterdam, the Netherlands.
